President & Chief Executive Officer

Jose Diaz

Jose Diaz is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Ample Electric, Inc., a leading Northern California electrical and civil infrastructure contractor serving commercial, industrial, utility, and public works clients throughout the state.

Since acquiring the company, Jose has transformed Ample Electric into one of the region's fastest-growing electrical contractors, building an organization recognized for its commitment to safety, quality, integrity, and execution. Under his leadership, the company has grown into one of Northern California's premier electrical and civil infrastructure contractors, successfully delivering complex projects for some of California's largest utilities, municipalities, developers, and private clients.

Jose believes that long-term success is earned through relationships. His leadership philosophy centers on accountability, transparency, and delivering on commitments.

A passionate advocate for workforce development, Jose has coached the Sacramento State Construction Management Electrical Competition Team for several years, mentoring future construction professionals and helping students bridge the gap between the classroom and the field. He is committed to strengthening the construction industry by investing in the next generation of leaders and promoting careers in the skilled trades.

Beyond the construction industry, Jose is deeply committed to serving his community. He is currently serving his second term as a Director for the Winters Fire Protection District Board, helping provide strategic oversight and governance for the district. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the River City Food Bank, supporting efforts to combat food insecurity and strengthen communities throughout the region.

Jose believes successful businesses have a responsibility to give back, invest in their communities, and help develop future leaders. Whether mentoring students, supporting public service organizations, or leading community initiatives, he is committed to creating a lasting impact beyond the projects Ample Electric builds.

Brandon De Lago

VP of Electrical Operations
Brandon De Lago is an accomplished electrical professional with 27 years of experience, including 7 years as an electrician and 20 years as a Project Manager overseeing industrial, commercial, solar, and battery system projects. Renowned for his strong technical expertise in electrical systems, he excels in delivering complex projects with precision and efficiency. A dedicated team player, Brandon is driven by a passion for collaboration and mentoring.

Kyle Spears is a seasoned professional with more than two decades of experience in the electrical industry. He began his career as the owner of Spears Electric, demonstrating strong entrepreneurial leadership, and later served as a general foreman where he further developed his field and team management expertise. Kyle has overseen the execution of complex projects, ensuring efficiency and quality across all phases.

Paul White

Director of Civil Operations
Paul White has 38+ years of construction experience delivering large infrastructure projects, including dams, high-rises, and civil developments. Starting as a foreman, he advanced to superintendent, leading major federal projects and overseeing multiple teams. Now Director of Civil Operations at Ample, he builds and leads teams, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and efficient, reliable project delivery.
