Ample Electric served as the Prime Contractor for the installation of two gas-powered emergency generators, delivering a comprehensive scope that included civil, structural, and utility infrastructure improvements.
The project involved the installation of one generator within an existing CMU (Concrete Masonry Unit) enclosure, which was enhanced with a newly constructed screen wall and custom-fabricated access gates along the front elevation. The second generator installation required the full construction of a new CMU enclosure designed to function as a dual-purpose generator and trash enclosure, complete with custom-fabricated gates and dedicated equipment foundations.
As part of the electrical scope, Ample Electric removed the existing Main Switchboard (MSB) and installed a new MSB to support the upgraded emergency power system and ensure proper integration with the new generators.
Work also included the installation of underground electrical and gas infrastructure to support both generator systems. Gas service was extended and routed vertically to the building roof, where it was connected to a newly installed gas meter to ensure a reliable and code-compliant fuel supply.
